SKIP SUPPLY SERGEANT
Manage inventory of supplies and organizational items at the storage facility. This position requires heavy lifting.

The right person for this job will live in southeastern Massachusetts, be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, excellent with record keeping, and must be trustworthy. They will also have reliable transportation, be capable of using the Internet, be passionate about supporting deployed US troops and the quality of SKIP care packages, able to take direction and constructive criticism, and be willing to assist with other projects related to the quality of the SKIP storage facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently organize and inventory SKIP storage facility
- Post on the SKIP Online Forum and retain hard copy of records of inventory
- Assist with securing/improving SKIP storage facilities
TRAINING
The Executive Director will notify the selected applicant via telephone or e-mail. Supervisor contact information will be provided to the selected applicant after verification that the position is still desired. Training will be conducted in-person or via e-mail for the selected applicant. The trainer may be a SKIP board member, committee member, or director.
TIME AND PLACE
The SKIP Supply Sergeant will primarily work unsupervised at the SKIP Storage Facility in Brockton, MA. Estimated time requirement: 1-2 hours per week. Notification of new supply donations and other storage facility tasks will be sent via e-mail to the selected applicant's skipcares.org e-mail account.
COMMITMENT
The selected applicant would retain this position for 1 year unless otherwise decided by the volunteer, the the Executive Director or the SKIP board of directors.
ON-THE-JOB SUPERVISION
The supervisor for this position will be the Executive Director or other appointed committee member or director.
