How do I print an article?
This is what the print buttons look like on each article.
To print an article, click the button that looks like the one to the right. Note: the button on this page does not do anything.
You can delete sections that you don’t want, save it as a PDF, print it with your printer, or even send it in an email. It also looks a lot nicer than going to “File, Print” in your browser.
Can I request new article topics?
Yes, you can. Use the Contact Us form and choose “Article Topic Request” as the subject.
Why is SKIP closing?
We blame the economy. Not really. Truthfully, it’s been a tough couple of years for SKIP regarding donations. In 2009 we briefly discussed the possibility of closing as donations started slowing, but in 2011 it seems like that’s all we could talk about. Knowing we had a 7-year run supporting more than 11,000 military members makes all the sweat, blood and tears worthwhile.
Can I still request care packages?
Unfortunately, no. We have stopped accepting new care package requests.
Can I get a military member’s name from you and ship my own care package?
Sorry, but we do not give out service member information to anyone. There are websites that allow you to adopt service members, just search for “adopt military member” in any major search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Dogpile, etc.).
