Two Times of the Year to Honor All Mothers:
Their Birthdays and Mother's Day

Hundreds of dew drops greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one Mother the wide world over.

This is a tribute to all the mothers in our country, All whom are true heroes. But that is even true more so with the “military mothers”. They are every day mothers, just with added fears. Whether we like it or not all mothers are somehow affected by war, this has been true throughout time. A child can and has been called to war many times and that fear is on the mind of every mom at some point.

The feeling of Mother’s Day isn't always there for a mother as she waits to hear from her children. For the mother who sends her child a special cookie with school lunch or that sends a package to her child that is deployed, her love is poured into that package and gives her great joy. It is a gift filled with her love that she is sending her child and there is nothing stronger than a mother's love. The deployed mother also has those feelings for her child, as she too tries to stay in contact and as they send her the gifts of their love.

We need to honor and support all these brave women, all mothers today.
Keep the military mother that serves our country, in one form or another, in your heart.
