A Mother's Day Tribute For the Military Moms
We wish all mothers a Happy Mother's Day! We hope you are honored in a special way, a phone call, a visit, and all shown through the love of your children. If you are female but not a mom, you have some "kids" that think you are very special and wish you a Happy Mother's Day also.
For the moms whose children are serving a military life and maybe away from home, as mom worries about their children daily, we know it is very hard. A mom of a military member worries about their child, they may be hurt in some way and mom prays daily that they return safely. A mom always watches over their children, no matter how old they are. We raised them, we honor what they have chosen to do for their country. There are thousands of moms throughout our country that have pride in their military children.
For the moms that are serving our country, those that go into warzones leaving their children behind, these moms worry about the same things as a mom of a military member. They worry if their children are safe, will their children get hurt and they pray daily that they return safely back to their children. These moms leave their children with their spouse or family members while she serves. She shows her children how proud she is to be a citizen of the United States and she teaches her children some strong values. Although she misses her children, she cares for their future and is attempting to give them peace and freedom. As the military mom leaves for an unknown country and says goodbye her heart aches knowing they may miss a birthday, Christmas, the firsts of their age levels, but most of all she misses her time with her little ones, the hugs.
Most importantly, we would like to honor the moms that have lost their children while serving in the military. We know you are proud to have had them serve and that your hearts must ache from your loss. Your children will always be honored for their sacrifices they made while defending our country and forever remembered. Our love and hearts ache for each of you.
All moms deserve the greatest respect we can give them. We all worry and we all take pride in our children. Military moms just sometimes hide their tears a bit more.
Thank you all
